 » Astronomy Club
The Astronomy Club is open to all students who wish to learn more about universe and our place in it. Takes place in the Planetarium on Wednesdays 7:00-9:00 PM.

 » Big Orange Pride
Marching Band meets daily and competes on Saturdays and performs during home football games. The group is open to all band students. Marching Band also competes in ISSMA competitions and BOA and is known as the "Big Orange Pride".

 » Bowling Club
Bowling is open to all students and meets on Mondays and Wednesdays who wish to perform against other schools. Students practice on Thursdays and show what they're made of during competitions at 3:30 PM, beginning in early winter.

The Bruinettes perform at football games, basketball games, competitions, and the Mr/Miss Northrop Body Building Contest. Tryouts take place in April.

Students learn conflict resolution skills to reduce violence and enhance interpersonal skills at Northrop High School. Students interested in training or becoming a peer mediator should contact the sponsor. Bimonthly meetings are scheduled.

Students are matched with intern mentors in the community for learning-rich experiences. Open to Seniors to express an interest in a particular career field as either paid or unpaid interns. Meetings are scheduled during the seminar class. Students must complete an application.

 » Charisma
This group specializes in pop, Broadway, and jazz incorporating music and dance with costuming and sets. Students must audition in May. The talented group competes in shows and at area festivals.

 » Cheerleading
This is a year-long activity. Cheerleaders are chosen every March by UCA officials. They attend summer camp, cheer at games, sectionals, designated sporting events, and a squad of selected cheerleaders compete in contests.

This group promotes friendship, responsibility, leadership, and service to the community. It is open to all students with a "C" or above average. The group participates in Johnny Appleseed, "Read Across", 3 Rivers Festival, SCAN, and Scott's Cancer Day.
